How to Put JBL Wave 100 in Pairing Mode

The first step of linking your JBL Wave 100 headphones to any device is activating their pairing mode.

This allows the speakers to broadcast a signal that will find compatible devices in the area.

Most JBL Wave 100 will enter pairing mode as soon as you power them up. However, if the earbuds are idle for a few minutes, they automatically exit the mode.

So, you’ll have to activate the headphones manually.

To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Turn on both earbuds.
  2. Locate the touchpad on the side of each bud and hold down the button for about three to five seconds
  3. After that, the JBL’s LED will start flashing blue, but it can also glow white, depending on your headphones’ model.
